This net worked great! Lasted 3 years and 2 months. That's hanging outside in the Texas summer and winters. I just got the new one in the mail bc the old one started to rip. Well worth the price.

We purchased this skimmer for use in a small (12,000 gallon) outdoor swimming pool. Purpose is 100% skimming the pool floor - max depth 6' 6", not for skimming the water surface - we have a smaller, easier to handle, light weight scoop for this.PRODUCT PROS- Fitted our existing aluminium pole.- Very easy to detach from the pole for emptying.- Basket fabric is strong and has tab that makes it easy to invert basket to empty.- Basket fabric weave hole size is good - captures ~90% of debris.- Skimming lip is angled correctly relative to pool floor.- Light weight suited to older users.PRODUCT CONS- Frame that basket hangs on is relatively thin plastic.- The frame clips are therefore likely to have a limited life.- Frame will last longer if protected from extreme heat and sunlight.- Skimmer lip would be better if 1-2 inches wider.SUMMARYOK value for money. Careful use and storage will extend product life. Amazon sell an alternative which is about twice the price, but of higher construction quality and the choice of professional pool companies in our area - south Texas.

The best skimmer thus far - unlike others it completely skims debris on te surface and at thbottom of pool.

The net is quit good however, there are multiple fasteners which hold net to handle. Two are durable plastic, but one is metal. Metal in a pool will rust. Fastener lasted two seasons and rusted out. Net now falls off pool.Looking for another net.

Très bon filet a feuilles. Rend facile de ramaser les débris au fond de la piscine grâche à sa bavette. Ma blonde l'a tellement aimé qu'elle m'en a fait acheter un autre pour la voisine, parce qu'elle va l'aider souvent a nettoyer sa piscine, et celui que la voisine avait n'était pas yâble !

Had bought the same one but with the rubber on the front edge last year. In a pool with a liner it is. tough to slide along the bottom.This one however, is very good and highly recommended for pools with liners.
