I initially bought a set of two of these little cookers to make eggs for muffin/egg sandwiches. So far, I haven't tried them for this purpose, but I have used them quite often for individual side servings of homemade soup. I have a number of different homemade soups that I have frozen in two cup containers. These little cookers are the perfect size for a one cup serving of soup as a side dish for my husband and I. I simply thaw the soup in the microwave, pour 1 cup in each cooker, and heat the soup in the cookers before serving. So what do I love about these cookers?1) Work very well for heating and serving 1 cup servings of soups and other side dishes in the microwave.2) The covers keep food contained so it doesn't spatter in the microwave, and steam is released through the chimney in the cover.3) Since the handles are hollow, they don't get hot in the microwave. The handles are short, so may not work well for large hands.4) So far, they are super easy to clean and nothing sticks, but my husband still puts them in the dishwasher. Since they are dishwasher save, this isn't a problem5) They stack well for storage by putting the top of each pot upside down. So, they require less storage space.6) The covers keep the food warm until ready to eat.7) They look nicer than regular soup bowls.Although I have not yet used these cookers for eggs, I plan to in the future. I will update this review with the results.I hope this review was helpful for you.

The Roe & Moe egg cooker makes a good scrambled egg in the microwave and takes the place of my old "As seen on TV" version which was only $9.99 and had slightly higher sides.

I purchased these to replace a Stonewave that I broke. They are a bit smaller, about an ounce and a half less liquid, around 10 oz. They stack differently because of the size difference., but they work as well. I purchase 2 because there was a big difference in the price of a pair, $20.00 each vs. a single one $26.00. Still much more expensive that the original price of $10.00.I am finding many uses for them and continue looking for more recipes.

I make shakshuka in it every morning before work. I love shakshuka, but it's too involved to make it when I'm short on time, and makes too many dishes. Not anymore! I use this pot, Mina Shakshuka sauce, and one egg. I microwave it for 2 minutes, add some feta cheese on top, and do it for another 30 seconds. It's amazing. The handle is hollow, so it doesn't get hot (at least with the amount of time I microwave it for), but the lid does get pretty hot, so you'll need a towel or pot holder to remove it.It's also super convenient that I can eat straight out of the pot. When I'm done I put it in the sink and fill it with water (so the stuff doesn't get crusty), and it's very easy to wash when I get home from work, because it doesn't stick.I could not be more pleased. I dislike the taste of eggs by themselves, but sweet breakfasts give me a sugar crash, so I hadn't been eating breakfast for a while. It seems like I'm over stating it, but this lil pot made breakfast possible for me again.100% recommend. I need to try mug cake in it next...

Cooks eggs perfectly in the microwave. The size is perfect for one or two eggs. We first tried plastic cookers and these are much easier to clean.

This is a SMALL but well made ceramic dish that does a great job of cooking an egg or two in the microwave. I inadvertently ordered two and use them. Just be careful as the lid is very hot when you remove it. Also the handle on the dish may be a bit short for some people..just use caution. Overall, very nice purchase.

I love a good poached egg with runny yolks. Our friends have one of these and he made us eggs one time and they were pretty good so I thought I'd buy one of these. I tried several times, adjusting the time and temp, I even asked him for suggestions. But I could never get it quite right. I ended up returning the cooker for this reason. But I didn't try any other recipes so I can't be sure how good it actually is. It is decent quality but my main thing was getting perfect poached eggs.

They look lovely, but fragile and as others have noted, these make quite a mess in the microwave and you can't try an alternate cooking method because they're microwave only. Was hopeful but no go.We're returning and getting the Le Creuset *but not microwavable* stoneware
