These are dang good soft jaws for your vice. I have a 5.5 " vice and bought the 6" model. Magnets are good and they seem to grip very well. I don't do many reviews but I thought I would for these. Very pleased!

These soft jaws are easy to use and protect whatever you put in your vise. Magnets work well to hold them in place.

This wood be a five star item except on the flat pair of jaws the magnets were installed out of phase so they will not line up with the holders. They do stick directly onto the metal vise jaws so they are usable anyway.Felt it would be more hassle to return than to just use as is

I like that it came with two textures of jaw facing. I am using the fine waffle texture for holding items I don't want marred. The other is deeply textured... not sure what I'll use these faces for.

I didn't realize until I received them that the red "soft part" is also magnetic and comes off. The problem with this is that it shifts position way too easily, frequently falling off. The magnets used to stick the pads on aren't strong enough. They should have just permanently attached them.
