High density and solid. Using 2 of these on a minnow trap to make it float. Working great. Building a fish trap that I'll try using the other 2 on. If it's not enough, I'll order more as these are great.

I picked these up for my gill net because the floats it came with are too small to hold it up if the water is too deep for it. These are a great size and will be very versatile, being plenty big enough for crab trap floats too.These buoys feel very solid and I believe the color is impregnated in to the foam so they will stay yellow even after they are worn. I checked by poking a small hole in the one and the color was down past the surface. The outside has a coating on it to help seal the foam.Inside there are hard rings at each end of the float to help protect from rope burn damage as it slides on the rope. Great touch that will add a lot of durability . Other than that there's only the one seam in the center and it's aligned well on all four floats and sealed well. Overall great floats and I would get them again!

I use these on ym Flounder gig's. On the end of the stringer cable. Works perfect.
