Typically I would just use the spreader I have attached, my fingers! This does help keep my hands a little cleaner as the glue is on the brush and not spread all over my hands, shirt, pants etc. I have been using this for about a month now and sometimes I forget to clean it after use, then I need to either wait for it to completely dry out to peel off the glue. Sometimes I feel the bristles are going to rip off when doing so but they have not yet.Overall I actually like this little kit, its much like the Rockler version, but cheaper. I saw some of the other reviews say they don't like the angle of the brush bristles but I don't mind them as they work well for spreading.This is a good addition for any level of wood worker I feel.

Used a rubber roller for the longest time and glue got stuck to it and unable to pull off. These were a piece of cake when the glue dried, was able to peel it off with ease

Why didn’t I buy this sooner? The silicone brush and tray make spreading glue so much easier and cleaner than using wood spreaders or your finger. Cleanup is pretty simple too. Dried glue peels right off the tray. Well worth it!

I have been using this kit for wood glue ups for a while even have forgotten to clean the glue off. The hardened glue peels right off these no issues. I have been using the same tray and brushes for over a year.

This is one of those items that you didn't realize how much you needed it, until you had it. Cleanup is a simple breeze as well as when you are finished using the sili glue brushes and tray, you just pour the glue back out of the tray into the bottle, then rinse in warm water to prepare for the next time you need them. Already ordered a couple others for my father, and fellow woodworkers. Thanks again for making this great product!

Works as expected, arrived on time. Wood glue comes off the brushes after it hardens. So easy to clean.

OlvÃdate de andar usando brochas, pinceles, guantes, pedazos de papel o tus dedos. Funciona bien tanto la broca como la parte de pala lisa. Al otro dÃa le quite el pegamento seco de un solo tirón y quedó como nuevo
