I have a older pro Kitchenaid blender that I have had for years, I very powerful model. But for some reason it can with a very flimsy foam-like circular gasket that seals the cover to the bowl. I could never figure out why such a quality product came with such a cheap part, everything else about it is top-notch.I had been thinking about replacing the gasket for years but could not find the appropriate material in the hardware stores.I saw this and decided to order a piece to cut my own gasket, and am so glad I did. After a bit of tracing and trimming I have a new gasket that is virtually indestructible, seals perfectly, and will outlive me!

I needed a soft gasket material for my air compressor head. When running for a while it can get 275 degrees or more. That’s also the flash point for this stuff. The whole garage filled with smoke.

I got in new vinyl plank flooring, and I also got a wax less toilet wax ring, but as the new flooring is a little thick, I cut this rubber sheet down to fit right over the new ring to fit under the toilet to seal it off so there won't be a water leak issue. It works great for what I used it for. Getting creative with this can be interesting.
