My purpose is to insulate layers of li-ion batteries for heat, electrical and vibration. These should do well. I don't think cutting to size will be a problem.

Got this for some anti vibration. It's good material that looks as if it will last a long time. Easy to cut and work with. Only issue I had with it is that the smell was awful and it was dirty. I washed it and left it outside to air outside it for several days. Still waiting for the smell to go away.
