Easy and intuitive to use. Fits in our new work laptop mini-locking ports. Ordered 3, but one didn't come with keys, so I needed to return it. The other 2 are doing what they need to do.

Works perfectly for my HP zBook Firefly 15 G7. You have to press the button on the keyhole to engage the lock, the key only unlocks it. Works as a theft deterrent if you're in public, but would definitely not survive a targeted attack.

This lock doesn't work at all. The cylinder rotates 1/4 turn clockwise (to unlock), but it cannot be turned counterclockwise (to lock) at all. I ordered this because I have a new thin notebook that has a Nano slot, and all my old security lock cables are for the standard-size slot. I'm on a trip, so I had it sent to my hotel. The fact that it doesn't work really sucks, given my immediate need for it.But, I can't say that I wasn't warned. Most of the 10% 1-star reviews say "doesn't work!". I was just hoping that I would get lucky and get one of the working ones. No such luck.I certainly will never buy this brand again!

use this to distract anyone from taking my laptop at a church. I don't feel like it would hold up to someone dedicated to take it but I needed something that would discourage hooligans.

This lock secures HP Z Book laptop. I have tried several and this is the first to properly fit and secure the Nano Security Slot.

It is a very well made item that correctly fits my laptop.Note that to lock it, you do not need the key; just press the button at the top in. You only need the key to open it.It was not immediately obvious to me until I reviewed the very clear instructions on the back of the package.I recommend it.
