This is my son’s favorite mouthguard which we had even before they came out with the tether but we have now had our second tether break off within a month of purchase which has never happened within the life of other mouthguards. I do not want to continue to pay $25 a mouthguard that only lasts a month but it’s now my son’s favorite guard.

This review is for SISU STORE Brand (sold by recommerce) Tether Adult Mouthguard, Intense Red - 2.0mm Thin - for Athletes Over 5’ Tall - Pre-Formed for Custom-Molded Fit - Remoldable Up to 20 Times - Non Toxic. It is a good size for a pre-teen. The quality seems to be good. As these mouth guards tend to get lost easily, this is a good one that I hope will stick around for a while! It could be worn without molding it to fit, although it will give better protection if that step is done.Thank you for reading my review. My son wanted a smaller mouth guard to attach to his helmet for lacrosse. Others were much bigger and he found them to be uncomfortable and bulky. This one works great if you’re looking for a small option.

Although the mouth guard is the best fit i have ever been able to get the strap breaks very easily.

We like the SISU mouthguards, this is the first time we bought one with a tether. The tether broke immediately upon first use, and there is no good way to return it.

I got this for lifting, since I tend to clench my jaw too tightly. So far, it molded fine and seems to work, though the material is a tiny bit thin (and pretty hard! Though I don’t see this as a downside - I’ve had enough of the wax / soft mouth guards). One little note about the package though - it was open (the plastic had sheared away from the cardboard backing) when it arrived. This was kinda gross, but you’re gonna boil it anyway to mold it, so… not a real problem there I guess.
