roots amazingly, I only do toddler heads and use human hair, which is much thicker than mo hair. it will root between 2-4 hairs at once. when I am at the edges of the head, I pluck out some hairs but if you don't push it in at the same area too much you won't have pluggy areas. but rooting an entire toddler head was accomplished in 3 days using these needles. I also purchased CLOVER PEN STYLE NEEDLE FELTING TOOL which holds 3 needles at once. I inserted only one needle for rooting, super comfy for me (better than reg rooting tool) and I could adjust how much of the needle tip was exposed while rooting so minimized breakage drastically! I hardly broke ANY needles, didn't have to warm my vinyl while working and the end results were amazing. super price, super product. LOVE IT.

I did the cost analysis from retailers in stores and online. This was the best quality and the best deal! I'm really happy with the needles.

These were not felting well for me so borrowed a friends needle who bought her from a company that specializes in felting supplies and what a difference!! I re bought from that company. Can't explain why these don't penetrate the wool easily, sorry.

I teach a needled felted faces workshop from time to time and provide the needles for the class. Working with beginners, they break a lot of needles at first. These worked well for this purpose and didn't break my bank or their materials cost. The product itself performs well despite being a shade thinner than some other needles I have used. They work well for detail work in felting without leaving large puncture marks.

These work great. My wife got into needle felting. I used my wood lathe to make her a holder for the needles that could accommodate as many as 12 and as few as one needle comfortably in the palm of her hand over a long period of time. Unfortunately when I watch her jabbing away at some felting project I am reminded of the shower scene from psycho. Especially when she misses and nails her fingers and yelps! Good needles though.
