We bought these to use on our daughters sliding door system to her master bedroom. Love that the back plate and handles attach with the same screw. Just a small, but important FYI for the installer, you must drill your pilot holes level front to back! My husband did not pay attention to this detail and drilled the holes using his sightline from above the desired placement. Wah, wah. We had a heck of a time redrilling the holes bigger to correct this issue. Then getting the handles in alignment with each other was another ordeal. Spent over 2 hours installing when it should have only taken minutes. Measure, measure, measure and using a drill with a built in level on top might be the ticket. Very solid handles though and reasonably priced!

The handle is large and I was able to use it as a lift handle for my 2 car garage door. It is a heavy-weighted handle therefore using 2 on the pull-up garage door would have been too much. I saved the other handle for another project. Looks great and has a nice grip. Happy with my purchase!
