Q: How much space do i need to keep from ceiling to doorway?
A: At least 6"
Q:My door is in thickness of 35 mm,how can i fit it with the existing bolt ?
A:you can use the 5 mm black spacer we put in package for roller bolt,then your door will be fit perfectly.
Q：Can i cut my rail to fit my space ?
A: Sure,rail can be cut in any length ,but make sure you were cutting the right length you need
Q:if i got a barn door with 40" width,will this rail suit for me ?
A:Yes ,rail length should be twice of door width
Q: How to make sure the barn door is safe and stable after install it ?
- Door Stopper :2 Door stoppers will keep the door between the door stopper,they will stop the door when the roller reach it ,make sure the barn door will not leave the track when you opening or closing the door .
- Floor Guide :Floor guide is install under your barn door with a groove ,it can stop your door swing under movement.
- Anti-jump :the small round pieces install on the top of barn door to stop the door jump out when closing ,opening or moving .
Q:What can i do if i can't install it by myself?
A:you can learn the video in our page and we have put the instructions in the package ,it is step by step guide,easy to installation.
Q:Can i use them out door ?
A:we do not suggest to use our carbon steel kit out side ,but if you insist on that ,please make some cover over the track
Q: What is the maximum weight holded by track ?
A: Maximum 265lbs.
Q: if I need a headboard?
a. when the pre-drilled holes on track don't line up to your wall studs.
b.when you have a doorway trim.
you need a header board in same thickness as your trim into your studs , then install the track on the header board.

I didn't know what to expect for such a reasonable price, but was pleasantly surprised. It came with all hardware and all the pieces are actually metal, not cheap plastic. I also had concerns about the 5 piece rail, but my concerns were unfounded. It assembled easily and with the countersunk screws and support plates, it's very rigid. No complaints here! Everything in nicely painted and looks great. The hanger and roller assembly it nice and heavy and rolls nice. The stops for fully open or closed even have rubber bumpers for quiet operation.

I installed this kit into a space about 5 1/2 feet wide To do this, I held the bar up against the wall, taking care to line the mounting holes up with the clearly marked studs (using painters tape). Once lined up w the studs, I marked and cut the ends off on each side. From here, I drilled two new mounting holes through the bar for the end studs which should be present on any wall. This is a very soft steel so drilling was very easy. I had to trim the flange off one side of the mounting stand-offs to allow it to fit flush against the corner wall. This allowed the included wood-threaded bolts to go through the [near] center of the wall stud.Installation tips: This kit comes with very smooth rolling hardware so you have to be sure to get your top bar as absolutely level as possible. This also ensuring that the bar is straight through each joint. There are five sections so all four joints have to be very straight. If you have a slight "up" angle at either end, as I did, the door won't stay pushed all the way to that side. To fix mine, I was able to lightly knock the end down at the last (leftmost) mounting standoff.Spacers are included which are meant to go between the rail stand-offs and the wall. I initially did not use them and the roller bolts rubbed on the wall ever so slightly. I installed one set of spacers which resulted in perfect spacing.The floor guides can be the trickiest part if you're drilling through vynil or laminate flooring to get down to some concrete. I drilled through the vinyl using a standard multi-purpose bit, then switched to a masonry bit to get down into the slab for the insert. I only installed a single floor guide on the outside for now and am using peel-n-stick felt dots on the back of the door to ride on the baseboard. So far this is good but I have some clear protective vinyl adhesive on order which we will install on the baseboard to make it slide easier/smoother as well as provide protective layer on top of the baseboard paint.All in all, this is a very solid kit that installs well.

This product was easy to assemble and perfect for what I was looking for. I only gave it 4 stars only because the parts where you can join it together was hard to put them together. Some of the paint was chipped off due to the snug fit (see in picture) but I don’t see a need to return because it doesn’t effect the use of it.

Because this is not one length of metal it did not install perfectly straight. There are short pieces of steel that fit together and then are tighten with screws. You can bear down on the tightening screws, but they don't all tighten sufficiently to keep the entire length completely even. It was frustrating. Finally got it up and it works okay, doesnt stick or cinch up, but an ordeal for sure. I know the metal is in short lengths for shipping purposes, but the next time I buy one for another door for our hall next it will be from a big box store so I can buy a single solid length.

I got the door hung and everything but the 6' bar was a bit of work. The pieces were never tight enough to make the bar straight. I got the first two parts straight and set the lag bolts tight. then I got the third on straight under my 6' level and set the lag bold. Same thing for parts 4 and 5. This was not my first barn door and the others had a 6' bar which made it easier to get the job done. Everything looks nice at completion.
