Does NOT fit for #8 AWG ground wire that I needed; split in half luke a toothpick. Works only for #10 AWG wire or smaller.

Actually needed next gauge up- larger, managed to open the bolt slightly and thread the nut to maintain connection- advice- verify wire guage. May order correct size

Tried two of these, the threads are simply too weak to permit moderate compression; the threading is not strong. Got similar type at Lowes - works great (Lowes even had two bolts for about same price as this one).

This tiny clamp can't accomodate the 16-4 AWG wire range it claims to accomodate! I needed this for. 6awg solid core ground wire and that won't even slide into the slot. There is no way this is able to handle 4awg wire.
