My dog loves her food and used to clear out her breakfast in 1 minute or less. Now with this, I timed it, it’ll take her 6 minutes to eat. It seems better for her digestion to slow down and engaging to have to work a little harder. Super easy to clean, suctions great to her metal bowl and is heavy duty. Best thing I’ve bought in a while, worth the $8 or so.

Overall this is a great slow feeder. The material is of good quality, it’s washable, great value for your money and really, does a great job to slow down those fast eaters. Only thing I would suggest is stronger suction. My curious 8 month old puppy was able to take it out the bowl and completely destroyed it in the yard when I wasn’t looking. I’ll be buying another, but will have to put it away right after he’s done eating.

I have German Shepherds who eat twice a day, yet act like they’ve been starved for weeks. I don’t think they even taste their food, two cups gone in under a minute ~ I’ve been worried about one of them getting bloat, it’s that bad.My bestie told me about these slow feeders, texted me the link, and I ordered them immediately. I can’t believe how well they work ~ they add MINUTES to my boys’ mealtimes, they’re made out of really soft silicone and super easy to clean.They have little suction cups on the bottom of them and while they still work, they don’t “suction†to the bottom of plastic bowls, just the metal ones. That’s the only reason I took one star off my rating, but I’m SO GLAD I ordered them and I highly recommend to anyone who has dogs that are ridiculous and swallow their food whole! Lol

My dog eats too fast, which causes her to get all excited later and throw up food. 🤮 I chose this "slower down" food contraption because I could place it inside her current dog bowl and keep her raised bowl and water set. I love that feature.The first night she used it, she believed a piece of food was stuck under the suction cups. She was so sure she kept trying to pull it up until she had spilled water all over the kitchen. It stayed stuck the entire time. Each night, my dog (he is a bit of a disaster) is getting less determined to pull it up.What I love about this item:-I didn't have to change dog bowls or raised food & water stands-It fits without any issues-The suction cups are strong-It works...the dog eats slower and doesn't get sickThe things I would change have to do with my dog, not the product so that I would recommend it. For reference, I have a 35-pound doodle that is 3 years old.

This is a made of a soft material so it is important to know that it is super flexible and therefore does not stay centered in the bowl. The suction on the bottom does not keep it in place. The soft material makes it flexible to fit many different size bowls, but if you really want to slow down your dog's eating and you have a larger bowl, this is not going to be the right solution.

We have 2 dogs about same size. The 10 year younger dog gets a larger portion of food then our senior dog. Our senior always ate slow and takes about good 5 minutes to eat his portion. The younger warfs it down in mere seconds. We feed in Porcelain bowls and the Keegud Slow Feeder insert attaches firm to the bottom of the bowl with many little suction cups. I had to trim the flaps a little to fit his bowl. Now our senior dog is done when the young one just about finishes up his bowl. It works like a charm! The insert is easy to clean and none of the food (We feed home cooked.) sticks to the silicone. The item was half price of the one we saw at Petco and it is way thicker silicon and much sturdier as well. I am glad I purchased it and certainly can recommend!

This product is great! I didn't have to buy a separate dog bowl. Fits perfectly and my dog now eats much slower to aid with digestion and to prevent bloat or a "stomach flip" which can be deadly. Definitely recommended.

This has been a life saver! I recently switched my pups food to include more fresh food instead of mostly kibble. He loves it so much, he would literally inhale his whole bowl in about 45s and he would barely chew his kibble. I knew I had to do something. I didn’t want to get an entire slow feeder bowl (aesthetics and all😉) so I opted for an insert and I’m very pleased! It now takes him about 3-5 minutes to eat and the slow feeder insert doesn’t move one bit. And trust me when I say my doggy goes to town during meal time! (For context, he’s 25 pounds, but this slow feeder insert is wonderful). I can easily throw it in the dishwasher or give it a quick wash before and after feeds. It even suctions to the bowl pretty well when it’s wet—so if you have a drooler, it should hold up. It slides around a little more wet, than dry. But still holds up nicely. Give it a try!*food does get stuck sometimes under the suction cups so be sure to check it often.

I really struggled to find a slow feeder for my puppy. The best thing about this is that you can cut to size, and the suction caps underneath prevents movement while my dog is eating.

I really like this! My dog has a habit of scoffing down all his food in one go and ends up burping all night. We've got several snuffle mats but this suction insert is great for when we're in a rush and dont want to spend time literally hiding bits of food in material. Definitely slows him down! We've had it a couple months now and no damage to it at all. We didn't need to cut the flaps at all as it sits perfectly in his bowl. Also easy to clean. The only thing thats annoying is that it sometimes slides around inside his metal bowl like side to side so he has managed to slip it all the way out the side a couple of times. Not the biggest deal because the suction is good but just a comment. Overall I would buy again.

Fantastic, perfect size for my dogs steel bowl. Definitely slowed his eating from hoover to a more normal speed. Suction cups stick well, very easy to clean and value for money as saved me buying a plastic bowl
