Used this on my honda shadow to check the idle. The bike already ran perfect but I wanted to be sure the idle rpm's were right. Took 2 mins to set up and check the rpm's per instructions. Bike was in spec as I thought it would be. Great tool to set the idle on a multitude of things in the future. Small light weight and easy to use. The price is right ao no reason to not have this in your tool box.

I work on small engines for free. I fixed all my neighbors and friends and families lawn equipment. As I was learning different things I knew I could do better with something like this. Unfortunately the prices was too high until now. This has very good reviews worked for me right out of the box. It's easy to use it's a great value. It seems to be accurate. I change the RPMs by adjusting their carburetor and it goes up and down as soon as I touch it. I wish I would have picked this up sooner. Getting it now is perfect since everybody is doing yard work now. I have actually used it for one of my broken 2-stroke trimmer.It seems pretty well made and as long as you're not going to do stupid stuff by letting it hit the ground or throw it into a box of other tools and have it get damaged in that sort of circumstance I can see getting a lot of years out of this. I take care of my tools so unless something major happens this will probably be the only one I would ever need again.And also came pretty quick. I placed the order on Monday and Tuesday it was here and like a little kid I ran over to play with it in the garage.

I first tried it out I did not have the wire wrapped tight enough and the reading was going all over the place. I found out that by winding the cable on the spark plug wire and using the clamp to secure it the reading was very stable and accurate. Very happy with the price and purchase,I have tested my snowblower and push mower the riding lawn mower is next.
