Works perfect to track the hours I out on my 20hp outboard and to keep an eye on the rpms at WOT. Works great and easy to find the correct mode for the intended application and installs easily.

I’ve had one before on a 4 stroke outboard and it worked long enough for me to properly size the propeller for that boat before conking out in about 2 weeks but I bought another for for a two stroke outboard I have again to see the rpm to make sure my prop is the correct size and it dose not display accurate rpm even when set to 2 stroke mode. spend a little more for a trail tech tachometer I’ve had one on my klr650 for years now with no issues and it’s actually accurate

Cheap way to get rpms on my no tach Sportster. Put it on, adjusted the idle, wrapped it up and put it in my toolbox for future use.
