Cable is a little short for a go kart so I had to extend it... I would highly recommend y'all to go straight to the coil if you have any trouble like I did as I was getting under reading of rpm so instead of wrapping around spark plug wire follow the wire from the coil to the kill switch and tap into that one worked for me I used the wire that was spliced to the oil sensor if that helps as well

I like this meter's functionality, and the fact that it fit the space that my UTV's previous hour meter was in. I only needed to do some minor modifications. All of the other ones I saw would have been too small.I especially liked the backlight and the replaceable battery, my old one had a sealed battery and once the battery died, the unit was trash.The biggest thing that needs improvement on this meter is the screen's LCD viewing angle is poor. Improve that And I will put this on every machine I own.

Easy setup. I like the backlight function; it makes it easy to read. I used this on my chainsaw to check idle rpm and to see how sensitive it was. All I did was lay the pickup wire next to the plug wire, which immediately picked up the rpms. I redid the setup several times, getting the same rpm reading every time. I also checked it against another, more expensive tachometer, and the readings were within 20 rpm. This little meter does more than just rpm; I'll likely find more uses. It has a reasonable price, has good features, and is accurate.

There's a setting for 3 cylinder 4 stroke engine, which is what I have. I swear the instructions said to hook to plug wire, but after changing it to the coil wire, it seems to work fine, and reading seems pretty accurate. So my bad review was wrong, and my own fault! I had to edit my review to be fair! For the price, it rocks!!

Il contaore e contagiri digitale a batteria consente di misurare in modo semplice il tempo di lavoro dell'a macchina cui è collegato; in tal modo è semplice rispettare le scadenze della manutenzione programmata per la macchina stessa, come ad esempio pulizia filtro dell'aria, sostituzione olio motore, sostituzione candela e quant'altro.L'installazione è semplice e veloce, basta togliere la plastica isolante dal contatto della batteria interna, scegliere una posizione di installazione, pulire ed attaccare l'adesivo con velcro, fissarci il dispositivo, avvolgere per 5 volte il filo sensore intorno al cavo della candela.Nel caso in cui siate anche interessati a monitorare il numero di giro del motore, seguite le impostazioni nel manuale d'uso.Nel mio caso, il tagliaerba su cui l'ho montato ha un motore 4 tempi monocilindrico, con la candela che scocca la scintilla ad ogni giro (anche se la combustione avviene ogni 2 giri come per tutti i motori a 4 tempi), quindi ho dovuto utilizzare l'apposita funzione.Vivamente consigliato per tutte quelle attrezzature che necessitano di manutenzione non chilometrica ma ogni un certo numero di ore.Non ne ho classificato l'impermeabilità in quanto non uso il tagliaerba mentre piove, ma la presenza di guarnizioni in silicone da buone garanzie in tale direzione.

Questo Contaore di Yooreal arriva nella sua scatola brandizzata.All’interno troviamo: il contaore con il cavetto sonda lungo 1,75m e la batteria CR2450 già inserita, 1 kit di installazione in velcro, 2 fascette in nylon, 1 dima di foratura adesiva, 1 manuale d’installazione, 1 manuale operativo.È un buon prodotto, facile da istallare e facile da usare!Ha molte funzioni tra cui il contagiri, contaore, impostazione ore per manutenzione, reset ore.Si può usare su motori sia a 2 sia a 4 tempi, con numero di cilindri 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 8, 12, 16... insomma piccolo prezzo ma tante funzioni!Ha una batteria interna per il funzionamento, l’illuminazione del display ed il mantenimento dei dati e non è prevista la possibilità di utilizzare un’alimentazione cablata.È retroilluminato per poterlo leggere in condizioni di scarsa luminosità , con 3 impostazioni: sempre on, on su pressione di un tasto, sempre off.Un buon accessorio, l’unico difetto è che ha il filo sensore, quello che va avvolto intorno al filo della candela, lungo 1,75metri che va benissimo per macchine da giardino o agricole, con motore anteriore, ma potrebbe risultare corto per macchine con motore posteriore.Infatti, provando ad installarlo su uno scooter, montandolo sul cruscotto e passando il filo sensore attraverso la carena, questo non riesce ad arrivare alla bobina, per cui è bastato spelare la guaina esterna del cavo sensore e scoprire i 2 fili che ci sono all’interno, spelare i 2 fili e collegarli, saldandoli, ad un’altra coppia di fili di sezione simile, sufficiente a raggiungere il cavo alta tensione, e funziona perfettamente! L’installazione del contaore può essere eseguita con la pad in velcro inclusa, in modo da agevolare il cambio batteria.In conclusione, è un prodotto completo con funzioni che vanno oltre il semplice contaore (contagiri, service). Prodotto consigliato.Spero che queste info vi siano utili.

Ich habe den Betriebsstundenzähler an einem Bootsmotor installiert.Die Funktion ist gegeben, besonders das Anpassen der Beitriebsstunden bei Ersatz ist gut, so kann man die bereits angefallenen Betriebsstunden programmieren und hat die Gesamtlaufleistung auf dem Display.Die Drehzahl wird ebenfalls angezeigt, wobei diese bei mir aweicht. Bei vorhandenen 650 U/min zeigt das Gerät nur ca. 350-400 U/min an. Hier muss ich wohl, wie in der Betriebsanleitung beschrieben, mit der Anzahl der Wicklungen um das Zündkabel variieren.Die Befestigung mit den Kabelbindern ist etwas einfallslos, da man , so wie in meinem Fall, diese nun wieder aufschneiden und neue setzen muss. Wenn die Drehzahl nun immer noch nicht stimmt, das Ganze wieder von vorn.Hier wären wieder lösbare Befestigungen vorteilhafter.Ich habe den mitgelieferten Klettverschluss zur Befestigung genutzt, da ich keine Löcher bohren wollte.Das hält bis jetzt sehr gut.Mal sehen, wie es dann unter Wärmeeinwirkung bei längerer Motorlaufzeit im Sommer mit der Klebewirkung der Klettbefestigung ist.Erstmal bin ich mit dieser einfachen aber funktionierenden Lösung eines Betriebsstundenzählers zufrieden.

Die Installation ist denkbar einfach, ein paar mal um das Zündkabel gewickelt, mit den mitgelieferten Kabelbindern fixieren, fertig. Das Display selbst kann dann geklebt, geschraubt, oder wie bei mir einfach auf eine Ablage gelegt werden.Die Drehzahl wird im Betrieb angezeigt, ist das Gerät abgeschaltet erscheint die Anzahl der Betriebsstunden. Das kann natürlich durchgeschaltet werden.Ich habe schon einen einfacherer Betriebsstundenzähler im Einsatz, dort ist die Batterie fest verschweißt. Hier ist dieser wechselbar, was betriebs- und umwelttechnisch viel besser ist.Einziges Manko, das Display ist nur in einem sehr geringen Winkel lesbar, das beschränkt die möglichen Montageplätze.
