I recently purchased the Smallrig Camera Cage for my Sony a7S III, and I couldn't be happier with my decision. I own both an A7r II and III. Purchase the cage because it was alot less than the one advertised for the A7r III.All you have to do is remove one screw. Now its snug as a bug..So far so good.. Have all access to knobs and dials, no ports blocked

This is a nice, sturdy little cage. I like that it not only has the button screw as a point of contact, but also the area where the strap goes in can be screwed to the cage as well. I’m using with an a7s3

I got this on sale for around $27. It says a73s only, but I have a73. I tried it. And it works. The second small screw on the right doesn’t line up. But it’s pretty much secure in the cage without that small screw. I’m very happy with this purchase. Thanks

I've used a variety of cages for Sony mirrorless cameras over the years (wooden camera, tilta, smallrig, newwer) and this cage is by far one of my favorites. It's lightweight, allows for plenty of accessories to be added, and doesn't really get in the way of any functionality of the camera while shooting. The only cumbersome aspect of this cage is hitting the record button on the SIII. It doesn't block the ability to hit the button but you do have reach around a small piece of the bracket to press the button. That being said, if you just remap the record button (which I would do anyway) to the main shutter button on the camera it makes this cage perfect. At the price, you can't beat it! I'd definitely recommend the wooden handle and top handle as they help with the stability during filming.

No complaints! I’ve had several small rig cages for my Sony cameras as I’ve upgraded bodies. This cage is no different from the level of quality of previous cages and makes managing regular and vertical rig setups a breeze

Absolutely incredible. Pretty much the best thing I could have bought for my camera. The build quality is excellent. It has a ton of mounting points, and in general just leaves no limitations for how to build my rig. I’ve shot 30+ weddings with this, and it even saved my camera once when I knocked over my gimbal by accident. Just a fantastic investment.

For anyone looking for an alternative cage for their new Sony A7IV then this is it! ...No one had written a review yet whether this will fit the new A7IV body. It does! Perfectly. I was hesitant at first, but thought I'd give it a go because the cage is set up more ergonomically and efficiently, in my opinion, than the main SmallRig cage advertised specifically for the A7IV. Body dimensions between the A7SIII and A7IV vary only by millimetres. Build is solid! Anti-twist lock lines up perfectly along with bottom bolt. Rear of camera sticks out a little by less than a centimetre but almost unnoticeable. Hope this helps anyone looks for more options! Good Luck
