Did I get the DJI mic 2 kit and found that the receiver kept slipping off the standard hotshoe? Yes, yes I did.Did i look up "hot shoe attachment for DJI mic 2" and this is what came up first? Yes. Along with camvate, neewer, sirui and the usual suspects. But with small rig, you know what you're getting. It's like the lego standard among the sea of mega blocks and other copy cats.

This cold shoe mount accessory works as intended, but as a side effect will scratch accessories you attach it to. For example, I tried it with a Saramonic and Rode wireless receiver, and it scratched up the plastic clips on both. On the Rode Wireless ME receiver, it basically messed up the sticker that is on the clip.However, I think this cold shoe mount could work better with accessories that have a metal cold shoe. It can also be mounted to a camera cage and has a 1/4" inch mount at the bottom. Overall, I think it's an interesting accessory, but it didn't quite work for me. It’s still a useful cold shoe mount but just wasn’t suitable for my wireless mic receivers.
