I'm a huge fan of SmallRig. I don't know how they offer the quality they do at their very fair prices. Excellent build quality, easy set-up. A ton of torque, I'm using it for focus but you could easily use it for moving a heavy zoom mechanism. The response is very smooth and sensitive. Perfection.

Very responsive, easy to pair and calibrate. The battery held the whole day with no issue. I do recommend it!

Easy setup with calibration, very smoth and well built.

For the price it's pretty great, I bought this to use with a Macro lens and some vintage lenses, while the auto calibration does not seem to work for these lenses. Setting the start and end points on manual mode is very easy and then you are good to go!At fast racking speeds it can be very loud and cause vibrations I have found that if you tighten it against the lens just right this issue is minimized, I won't be doing fast racks anyway, not making bollywood action movies.For the price , it's size and build quality make it a very good purchase.

The product definitely works, but it is not working on my camera rig system. I have used my 15mm rods to mount the motor and for some reason I keep getting bumping on my lens causing the image to move as I am racking focus. I tried moving the motor to every possible spot to see if the positioning would make a difference but I still kept getting the same issue. I also tried with the rod system that comes with the product but I still get the same issue no matter where I place the motor. I believe that the motor not having an ability to change the torque is what's causing the problem since it is too strong for the gears on my lenses. I've worked with the Nucleus wireless system and never had a problem with the motor causing the lens to move whenever pulling focus.I am pretty disappointed with this product as every other SmallRig item I have is great and now I can no longer return the product leaving me with a product I won't use.

Gets the job done

Es el Follow Focus más económico de Small Rig pero es muy potente. La configuración es un poco complicada al principio, sobre todo cuando el motor se enloquece y da vueltas sin control. Es necesario resetearlo para volver a configurarlo. Me tomó bastante tiempo entender la configuración, pero funciona bastante bien. La caja en la que viene me gusta mucho.

Marche bien, à la base j avais écris un mauvais commentaire mais je le retire c’est juste que la notice n’était pas top,mais une fois des infos en plus envoyé par smallrig j ai pu régler mon problème et cela marche bien! Ils ont etaient rapide et efficace et le vendeur m a aussi envoyé un message pour me dire qu il me rembourser intégralement et en s excusant… vu que le produit a finalement marché on a peu eu besoin d en arriver là. Mais en tt cas mnt je me sent en sécurité de commander avec ce vendeur!

Uso much el gimbal para mis trabajos yTengo la nueva Sigma 24-70ii y me descoloca el gimbal cuando giro el zoom mientras está encendido el gimbal. Tenía siempre poner el gimbal a dormir girar y encender otra vez el gimbal. Así no pierdo tiempo y si quiero hacer zoom ya no tengo que tocar la lente puedo seguir grabando. Muy cómodo

The Smallrig wireless follow focus lite met my expectations in every way. It is well built and is buttery smooth when focusing. It would have been great if the wheel came with a nato clamp adapter. And it will also be a dream if Smallrig makes it compatible with the Magic FIZ focus side handle.

Perfect utility and accessory for the PYXIS camera. Works well. Is quiet for small adjustments but audible for more generous focussing.

Dies kann eine Powerbank oder auch ein V-Mount Akku sein. Man benötigt jedenfalls einen USB C-Ladeanschluss.im Lieferumfang befindet sich zudem eine 200 mm lange 15-mm-Stange, auf der der Motor montiert werden kann, sowie eine Klemme, um die Stange am Kamerakäfig o.ä. zu befestigen. Für den Handheld-Controller wird auch eine Halterung mitgeliefert, die in die Multi-Winkel-Befestigung auf der Rückseite eingeschraubt wird, sodass er mit seiner Klemme an einer NATO-Schiene befestigt werden kann.Der Motor ist ziemlich einfach und bietet Auf- und Ab-Tasten zur Steuerung und ein kleines-OLED-Display. Mit den Auf- und Ab-Tasten kann man den Frequenzkanal, auf dem der Motor arbeitet, die ID-Nummer des Motors, die Kalibrierung und das Ein- und Ausschalten des Geräts festlegen. Man hat 15 Kanäle zum zuweisen.Wenn man den Motor auf das Objektiv kalibrieren möchten, genügt ein einziger langer Druck auf die Abwärtstaste, um den Prozess zu starten, bei dem der Motor die Endpunkte der Drehung am Objektiv ermittelt.Mir gefällt die reibungslose Bedienung des Kits sowie den smoothen Bewegungen in denen das Objektiv gedreht wird. Die digitale Markierungsanzeige, die zwischen 000 und 999 läuft, gibt eine genaue anzeige, wo der Fokus liegt, und ermöglicht es, einfach und wiederholt zu bestimmten Punkten zurückzukehren – ohne immer A- und B-Positionen für bestimmte Aufnahmen festlegen zu müssen. Diese Positionen sind ziemlich genau, und ich habe den gleichen Fokus festgestellt, wenn ich wiederholt zu bestimmten digitalen Markierungspositionen zurückgekehrt bin.Der Motor reagiert gut und schon eine leichte Betätigung des Controller Rades löst sofort eine gleichmäßige Reaktion des Motors aus. In meinen Tests konnte ich keinen wirklichen Verzögerungsunterschied zwischen der kabellosen und der kabelgebundenen Nutzung der Geräte feststellen, da der Motor offenbar auch Wireless sehr schnell reagiert.Im Dunkeln ist das Display gut beleuchtet und deutlich sichtbar.Der Kontroller-Drehring hat eine super angenehme geriffelte (Moos)Gummioberfläche und ist leicht zu bedienen. Der Ring lässt sich gut drehen und gleitet mit einer sanften Bewegung, die genau den richtigen Widerstand bietet.Ich empfand die Bedienung sehr komfortabel. Die Motoreinheit hat laut Smallrig ein Drehmoment von 0,5 Nm, was sich als ausreichend erwies, um alle meine Objektive zu bedienen.(Getestet wurde ein Canon RF24-105, Canon RF70-200, Canon EF-18-135)Wenn der Motor auf etwas trifft, das er nicht bewegen kann, beispielsweise wenn er mit einem Objektiv verwendet wird, für das er noch nicht kalibriert wurde, sendet er ein Blockiert-Signal an die Handsteuereinheit, die wiederum vibriert, um den "Fehler" anzuzeigen . Um die Warnung „Blockiert“ aufzuheben, muss der Motor ein- und wieder ausgeschaltet werden.Alles in allem ein wirklich toller Focusmotor
