I found the Celticbird Newest Phone Adapter well constructed and easy to use. Since camera alignment with the eyepiece is critical, a rigid mount is essential to make usable images. Features I liked:The camera is easily centered on the scope eyepiece before mounting on the scope. By looking at the camera lens through the adaptor view hole, the camera lens is easily centered eliminating the need for trial and error after mounting. The smart phone holder has a strong spring which firmly grips the phone and holds it in place. It opens wide enough to accommodate an iphone in an Otterbox. The optics are easily realigned when reassembling the digiscope. Three holding pads are screw adjustable to match the eyepiece. Loosening one screw allows removal and tightening it gives precise realignment.

The Celticbird cell phone holder is solidly build. Part aluminum and part heavy plastic. I have only tried it on my dissecting microscope, the purpose for which I bought it, but it is designed to fit numerous other applications like spotting scopes and binoculars, etc. It is easy to line up the phone with the ocular port. The clamps grip well and it is easy to align the ocular of the Celticbird to the ocular of the microscope by turning the screws until the light in the microscope ocular is centered. Once that is accomplished, only the top screw needs to be loosened for removal. Each different device would require a different alignment, which could become annoying setting up each time. The phone grip is very strong (and holds only the phone, any case needs to be removed). One thing not apparent in the description of the item is no note of the tube grip distance for the clamps. It turns out that the minimum tube grip is 7mm. My microscope ocular has a lip of only 6mm. The Celticbird held but not well. I remedied the problem by fashioning a larger ring for the scope ocular out of plastic tubing. This worked well. Another problem was that the weight of the phone and Celticbird (not the clamp's problem) is enough to tilt the ocular somewhat that I have to lift slightly to reposition the image on the phone before taking a picture. In all, the problems here are not Celticbrid's. I find the item a good by for the price.

This mount works very well for attaching to a spotting scope. Much better built than some of the cheaper ones on here. Solid aluminum construction and shades the lens of the scope, so you don’t have glare.Adjusting your phone to align with the reticle is a little bit finicky as well due to having set screws rather than adjusters, but you can just leave it in place from then on.My only real complaints would be that the phone camera lens does not press tightly against the amount so it lets in ambient light when using. Easy fix with some electrical tape or something of the sort.Overall, it suits my needs and is well-made for the price. I would recommend it to someone else.

After using it for almost 3 months, this attachment is really a great one to buy..I love taking pics of moon but it always gets a little shaky with my iPhone 15 pro max , but after this attachment it never shakes as it does earlier will share the images in the comments. One thing I saw was like it takes time to align the eye piece but it takes not more than 3mins.Great product I bought in Amazon!!!

Works great, holds phone well to scope. In fact, I was worried that it would drop my phone from the spotting scope, but it didn't, it was very solid and well built. Its easy to use and fits great on my Samsung galaxy S9 and my Vortex spotting scope which has 55mm large eyepiece. This phone mount has enough adjustment space and looks like it can be connected to different phones.I've tried several other types of adapters, this is perfect for my needs.

We have had this for awhile now. We have tried a few times to use this and it does NOT work. This thing is useless, save your money. Do not recommend.

The part that clamps onto a scope is pretty good. Metal construction with a good design. The ability to change the distance from the scope to the phone is great. However, the spring-loaded phone holding part is very cheap plastic and has already warped. If this was changed to a metal holder that is stronger, this would be 5 stars.
