5 stars because my cat loves these scratcher beds and uses it all the time. And one of these will last my cat for months. She loves laying in it and rubbing her head over the rims on the side of the bed.

I have a variety of cardboard scratchers for my cat. This is a favorite for 2 of them, always trying to get first dibs over the others. I would definitely would purchase another.

I have 2 older cats that like to exercise their claws in my chairs in the den. One of these with catnip and they forget about the furniture. Great value that lasts for about 3 months - not bad for a furniture guardian!

My cat loves any cardboard scratchers, but regarding the infused catnip, I don't believe that even works. I have to place catnip myself onto the cardboard for her to enjoy, she is not acting like any catnip was infused. I am concerned how to clean it, minus flipping it over and smacking it until all of the catnip pieces would fall out. Would be nice if your scratcher would sit in a cardboard tray, so I could simply pickup the scratcher and clean out the bottom cardboard tray .... just a thought.

Since dog-sitting for a relative, my cats have remained mostly on a bed in a separate room so they have not been able to use their regular scratching posts. I bought this with the hope that maybe it will help keep their nails under control. I don't know how well the file part works, if at all, but they do scratch on it and like to lie in it as well.
