NOTE: The alarm is slightly more compact and space-saving than the average product on the market

  • WEEKLY TEST IS REQUIRED. Test the unit to ensure proper operation by pressing the test button for at least 5 seconds, which will trigger alarm if it is working properly.

  • At first you need install an alarm in the bedroom and route way. In the case of several bedrooms, you shall install an alarm in every bedroom.

    NOTE:The best location is to install it in the center of the ceiling.

  • The battery cannot be replaced, this is a 10 year built-in lithium battery.

  • When conditions are safe, press and hold the test button on the top cover for at least 5 seconds (or until the device sounds) to activate silent mode, the alarm will go into silent mode for approximately 10 minutes.

  • Test Method 1: Test the device by pressing the test button for at least 5 seconds to trigger the alarm.

    Test Method 2: Use smoke to conduct the test,

    NOTE: The smoke inlet of each smoke detector is located on the side!Do not use open flame detection!

We purchased these basically to make our insurance company happy. But within a week of installing they served there purpose well. Eggs were left on the stove to boil and forgotten. The alarm woke up a napping member of the house before the house was filled with smoke. The alarms are not over sensitive, picking up normal cooking. The volume is not deafening but highly effective. A great value for the money. The size is compact and does not attract attention.

Bought smoke detector was on vacation when they arrived. activated and tested smoke detector according to instruction. Did an actual smoke test device failed to activate. (4) came in the box none of them detects smoke. Please is there a way that you are willing to replace the non working items. Was on vacation for over a month and came back to items not working and the 30 day return policy have seen to run out. You just Can't take a person's money like that and think that it's ok.. confused on why we have not resolved this problem from your end...

Smaller in size than standard smoke alarms.It was a little more work installing since I had to replace the frame as well as painting the area around them.Sound quality could be better.
