I like the loudness of this alarm as we can hear it from the back yard. It was super easy to install since it is battery operated. If anything it may be a bit too sensitive (no vaping directly under it) I would rather have it this way. It's nice to have both the carbon monoxide and smoke alarms in one unit too. The build is nice and tight also.

Easy install, replacing existing detectors. Just had to move a single screw and used one of the existing screws. Seem to be good detectors at a reasonable price. Highly recommend.

Wow! I'm a Kidde Nighthawk Smoke/Carbon monoxide detector customer for years! But this is a step-up and 1/2 the cost. The last 10 years, I kept purchasing Kidde products, however, they only last about 2 years or so max. I have 7 of them around the house BROKEN or no longer works.This Putogesafe smoke detector is a step-up from the expensive Kidde product. You will not be disappointed with this purchase. It slightly larger the standard Kidde smoke detector, but it's well design and well made with a front digital read-out. Excellent product!

A few things that I think you should know when considering this unit.1. The ad says 10 year product life time.2. The instructions say the unit comes with a 3 year warranty.3. The instructions say "IF the product continues to work for 10 years...4 The only customer service contact that I can find is an email @ china-sitter.com5. Instructions say to set your wifi to 2.4 GHz.Ours seemed to connect without any adjustments to out wifi.I got it to connect and ran it through the test cycles. Seems OK. We installed it in our garage for added security.

These units were easy to install. I prefer having the type where you can replace the batteries. So far so good.

I thought the light appeared all the time to show power. I also thought the display showed all the time on the screen based on how the advertisement appeared. A little disappointed that it doesn't do either.

I put batteries in these alarms and all but one of them would work. Tested all of them, and the one would do nothing. I even tried new batteries. Also, if someone could tell me why, the alarms are supposed to flash every 40 seconds when on, and none of the 5 alarms flash.
