Your cart is empty.Most two-stage snow blowers have a large gap or space between the impeller blades and the cylindrical chamber surrounding it. As the working time of snow blower increases, the gap gradually let in more and more snow and slush and build up in the internal space. This issue can cause clogging issues and reduced snow throwing distance, greatly decreasing work efficiency. This is a common design fault for many snow blowers. One of the easiest and quickest solution is to modifying the blades by adding a strip of durable rubber to each of them to reduce or eliminate the gap. The installation wasn’t too bad and the end results were great. Our snow blower will actually blow snow now. It doesn’t throw it crazy distances, but much better than before.It is truly amazing that the manufacturer allowed so much space between the secondary auger and the housing.Great product!

I put this kit on my Ariens 24" two stage snow blower. What a difference it made. I can throw snow from one side of my street, to the other side easily. It's easy too install, as long as you are comfortable drilling a few holes into your impeller blade. I used, two 16th of an inch shims, side by side, for measuring the distances for the rubbers from the impleller housing. (Remember to always pull the spark plug wire before starting this). The rubber blade quality is very good. This kit has everything you need to install it. I was throwing very wet snow without any trouble, and no shoot blockages at all. Value for they money, i feel is a good deal. I did it this way too save time, verus making my own.

I read about the rubber scrapers for the snow thrower but never got them. I finally bought them and installed them on a warm day in the garage. I have long drill bits and that helps. It took me about a hour to install. I only used it once, but the snow was just 2" deep. Too early to tell but time will tell. I never thought I would want snow, but just waiting for a substantial for the real test.

20 yrs ago I modified my 32 in Toro with individually purchased parts. It worked so much better so when I saw amazon had kits available i purchased and installed this one on my Ariens Pro 28.On these models it's best to remove the impeller for install. This allows a more precise fit.Took me 90 minutes however I took the opportunity to perform some preventative maintenance as well.The kit comes with very good hardware and the paddle material is the right thickness, size and has pre cut holes.What more could you ask for?Tried it out the next day and it DOES work.If your not too intimidated by taking things apart this will be a piece of cake for most people.I recommend this product 👌

Mighty nice impeller kit here. Comes with everything you need to make the snow really fly. I bought the kit for the four blade impeller, although my blower has three just incase I mess one up somehow. Five Stars!

I bought a lightly used MTD TroyBilt 2410 with manual chute and 179cc engine - the most basic low-end 2-stage snowblower made. I’d never used a snowblower before and the guy I bought it from said it was marginal beyond 2†of dry snow. From the time I bought it, we had no measurable snow for nearly three years (a worthwhile purchase just for that reason!). During that time I installed this kit, hoping if I ever had a reason to use it maybe this would help. I also did a bunch of other maintenance and improvement of the cheap junky parts from the factory - cable pulleys that couldn’t turn, etc., etc.Fast forward to two weeks ago, we got 12†dumped in less than 24 hours. I dragged out the machine and hoped for the best. No joke, the thing threw that snow 30’ or more and with authority! I cleared the whole driveway and checked for ice buildup or the beginnings of any clogs in the bucket and chute - nothing. There was hardly anything that even needed to melt out!This is the first thing you should add to your snowblower.

As all know, these are universal kits, but it contains everything needed to perform the installation. Lots of instructional videos on YouTube. I have had zero clogs after making this mod, it does indeed throw snow farther.
