My household has contributed to damaging my previous two soda streams. From over pressing, to adding the syrup before carbonating the water I am now hoping this is going to be our last. I love the convenience of being able to just attach the bottle and press a button that does everything. I wish that the gas bottles were compatible with the previous machines but so far, I am really enjoying the convenience of the design of this electric soda stream. I was lucky to get it on sale, so the price was right too

I ordered this as a gift for my son. He enjoys different flavored seltzers.Recently he has expressed his gratitude for the gift. The soda stream works well and he enjoys making it for less money and the positive environmental impact!

I was tired of getting plastic bottles that filled landfills. The machine works well and looks fine on the counter. I got the bundle so it came w/2 extra bottles (I have never used). It's tall, so it wouldn't fit under any cabinets and can only be on counter with nothing overhead. The flavors are good. I liked the Cherry best. Everyone kept telling me the cylinder replacement is free. Well, that's not true. The shipping to return the old ones is the only thing that is free. The new cylinders and shipping are not free. When all is done they are approx $42 + tax to replace 2 cylinders (and they will only replace 2+ at a time, not 1). Seriously considering getting rid of mine and skipping carbonated water (supposed to be better for health anyway).

My first reason why I purchased soda stream was to reduce or eliminate disposable cans and bottles. I have slib brother in law who is a hoarder. I don't want to enable him in any way . I also don't care about disease and attract bugs and animals to the disposable cans and bottles. What I learned from the experience is shere damage to the environment our choice make. By choose this method reduces this kind of damage to the environment while allowing me same enjoyment of product. The next thing surprises me was diffences in taste. Pepsi done this way really tastes delicious. I use product because my low blood sugar and it's very useful to have supply of surgery drink around. I'm planning on living in apartment this is ideal because I get equivalent of hundreds of cans or bottles with out wasting space. Also concentrate is EBT eligible ( food stamps) . I'm on disability this really helps. So far it's taken me a while to figure out how to operate bottle placement is critical m once I learned that everything has been great. I highly recommend it. Now in terms of cost not much different than cans or bottles. The CO2 cartridges are refillable this saves cost . In terms of reducing garbage can problem it's worth it and saving space and far better testing sodas is product advantages.

I replaced soda with sparkling water but quickly got tired of hauling sparking water cases up the stairs to my apartment. I decided to give this a try and it's AMAZING. I use RealLime to flavor it and it's absolutely perfect. I love that you can choose the level of carbonation and it's taken care of for you -- no manual pumping. I adore it.
