Saves having to change batteries in winter...I hope. Only been in use for 4 days. Has on the unit an indicator to show if charging and how much of a charge it has.

Have owned for three weeks and the battery now dies overnight. Solar panel is south facing in Tucson AZ and never in shadow. Trying to find specifications on the battery to replace as acurite hasn't been willing to provide them.
