These lights come as a set of two. They are very well made, and packaged really nicely.The lights are nice and bright. This is not surprising considering they are made by the Phillips company!I love that they each come with their own remote control!I love that the light is a separate unit from the solar panel! Sometimes the place where you need to put a light, is in a shady spot or under an overhang. With this set, you don't have to worry about that. Plus, the wires are nice and long, so you don't have to worry if there's a long distance between where you need to put the sensor from where you put the light.The reason I deducted a star:1. It takes many hours (more than 6) to get a full charge. So, if you have a cloudy day, they may not work well.2. The instructions are terrible....there are only pictures - no words. So, it doesn't tell you how long to charge it. The lights have 3 lighting modes, but the pictures are not clear AT ALL to explain what each mode does. I had to go back online to the listing to get more information.3. The motion senor did not work for me - However, I'm going to assume that it is because it wasn't fully charged. I only had the solar panel in the sunlight for about 4 hours. It was enough to turn on the light, but not enough power to get the motion sensor to operate. So, I'm hoping that after letting it stay in the sunlight for longer tomorrow, it will work better. I will update the review if there are any further issues.Overall, I'm very happy with these solar powered lights, and would recommend them.

These came with no instructions, but setup was fairly intuitive. I have a very dark area that none of the existing porch/patio/yard lights sufficiently illuminate for safely using the porch stairs after dark. These lights have very efficiently solved that problem; and I want to buy more.

These are the absolute best solar lights I have! I live in an area with no street lights and it is really dark around my house so I've had install quite a few solar lights. These Philips solar lights are so bright that it completely lights up an entire side of yard from front to back with only one light as you can see in the attached photos. Prior to installing this light I had 4 solar lights along the side of my house and even with all 4 lights I didn't get the brightness I do with 1 of the Philips solar lights. I even have some of the large street lights that don't produce the brightness these small lights do. I have been using these lights for several months now and they have never died or failed to power on so the solar power is great. Installation was a breeze and only required a few screws. The solar lights are compact, look good, and I really like that the solar panel isn't connected to the light so you can place the light where you'd like and then move the solar panel to a location that ensures maximum sunlight. The motion detection works from any direction, even if I walk behind the light on my porch. I have nothing negative to say about this product and have never had any issues so as of now they've held up perfectly. The Philips solar lights are a great value and I plan on getting another set of them for the front of my house.

The only real complaint is having to basically figure it out yourself. The instructions are non existent here which is a bit annoying.Otherwise, setup isn't awful. Pick a spot, mount it, plug in some wires then figure out what mode you want it on.They are pretty bright. It lights up about a 8 foot area from 6 feet up decently. As long as these last awhile I'll be happy since they aren't hard wired in.
