The solar light is easy to install and provides good illumination. With shorter daylight hours during the winter, it can still last from 5pm to midnight. Fits perfectly on our driveway.

I was looking for a fairly inexpensive but effective solar powered flood light to light up a corner outside by my shed that is very dark and where I have seen some critters in the past that have scared the hell out of me! This light is just the answer. The first one I bought had some instruction booklet that was not exactly accurate but adequate enough to figure out how to assemble it. It toke me only a few minutes to get it up and running. I did have to find my own wood screws to use to mount the provided pole on my wood shed. The only other problem I had was that the U shaped metal bracket that mounts the solar panel, did not have a center punched hole but had two close to the center.(I used one of those.). Even without fully being charged for over 3 days due to cloudy/rainy weather, the light still came on and stayed on. Once it got charged up, it nows stays on all night, as I have it on the dusk to dawn setting.I did email their support to ask a question and they responded back right away. I even gave them some suggestions for future lights and they let me know of a new model they are about to release. I was very surprised by their quick and friendly customer service. I had asked if they had an extension cord for the solar panel and they did refer me to a product that I did buy. I have not used it yet as the solar panel is getting charged up more than I thought, so I may not need it at all, but good to have. I liked this light so much, I bought two more for my back driveway and those two DID have a center punched hole in the U shaped metal bracket.The batteries they provide for the remote are rather soft so be careful you don't squeeze them too hard, as I almost did. My only complaint was there is no way to turn the light on except by using the remote. Luckily they provide you with two remotes. Their newer model light does have an on/off switch on the light itself, so they are perfecting their products.The light is good and bright and doing its job. And no AC wires and electric bill charges!! Buy one, you won't be disappointed.

I bought a pair of these lights and they arrived safely protected each one in their own box. All was included: light, cable, screws, 2 remote controllers for each light, 1 pole for each light and instructions. The ligths (both) came already with 95% charged. While I was doing the pole installation (since I have a cement house, I used 4 tapcon screws for each pole - not included in the box) I moved the ligths to the sun to charge anyway. Installation was easy and they are working fine since the first day (December 13th). They endured so far heavy rain, wind and sun. They work automatically from dusk to dawn. They are not super bright but from a dark alley to an illuminated one in seconds for me they are perfect! You can see in the photos the before and after. Also, one photo I took from the inside shows how dark it was first and now you can see the alley illuminated. For me they are a perfect bargain and do what I was expecting from them. Hope this helps!

Even fully charged it just does not throw the light it needs to, I was expecting a brighter light, and for it to last longer at night, It gets about 3 hours fully charged in the Sun all day, Florida Sun that is, But even with all other lights off, Just not very bright, Its about equal to a 50 incadescent bulb with a little bit of reflector, But thats it, and as far as spreading out, NO, maybe 20 ft rigght under light , and its upabout 18 feet on a telephoe pole, Mounts easy, But thats it,

Although area gets plenty of sunlight, this light only works for a few hours. It comes on at dusk, but goes off a few hours later. I waited to review until I could thoroughly check out all of the functions, and am sad to say, it just does not perform as expected. I had to add another light to the area.

Light is excellent, however, they should include mounting screws for timber post or timber on fascia board.
