I bought this to help with the cooling of my GoPro. I dremeled out the sides to create an opening. This gives me about 5 extra minutes before my GoPro overheats and shuts down. I’m using the GoPro on the dash of our car.

I have tried a few of these and after returning them.. this was the last one I tried. Fits factory flush unlike the others I tried. So save yourself a few returns and get this one. By the way, this has a hole in the side to expose the usb-c port - that's the point of this door, so don't expect any water resistance.

This door works well on my GoPro Hero 9 cameras. Fits great and offers the ability to easily power the camera from an external source. Latches well, holds battery in tight. The only thing that could be better is that it doesn’t seal the batter/SD card chamber so, if you use camera in dirty or dusty environment, that area can get quite dirty. Definitely worth the money and does what I need it to do.

Not sure other buyers are having so much issues with theirs, but mine fits like it came from the factory on my new GoPro 12 as you see here as well as my GoPro 10! No issues whatsoever. I can also use the USB-C for my external mic adapter or charge it without opening that battery door! Another pro is that, it is a aluminum which helps extract the heat from the battery and out! Win win in my book. Totally recommend this battery door!

Im der Überschrift steht : SOONSUN Aluminium-Akkudeckel f眉r GoPro Hero 8Es wird aber automatisch eine Abdeckung für hero 9 ausgewählt. Dies habe ich natürlich übersehen. Man mussdann den mittleren Artikel auswählen um eine Abdeckung für Hero 8 zu bekommen. Sehr schlecht gemacht !
