hand tighten everything untilYou figure it out , easy toPut together, then crank all the bolts down, load the bearing with Vaseline or grease , slightly lube up the spring knobs. I have a more expensive preacher curl machine , less resistance at the bottom and top of the movement , so I use it for hammer curls. This one I get good resistance at the bottom and top of the movement for preacher curls, the adjustment of the arm pad really helps put your arms in the right position. It’s not expensive, good value.

I was waiting for this style of bench to get around 150 busks and it finally did from this company. I was pleasantly surprised, sturdy bench. Easy to assemble. 2 exercises for the bench. Pretty compact. I am 200 lbs and fit well in the "saddle" as they say. I like it so far.....price was best of the market.

I like the bench, but the assembly instructions are the worst I've ever seen. No step by step instructions, just 2 schematic diagrams. And it does matter what gets put together first...Had to take it apart once or twice. It also took a minute or two to figure out how to convert from preacher curl to triceps extension. But moving between the 2 is quick and easy.

Functional but less than stellar quality. Doesn't feel like the most sturdy thing. Assembly is cumbersome, the instructions are terrible and it came with 1 set of missing nut and bolt. Has a strong chemical smell on the rubber coated handle that lingers on the hands if you don't wash. I decided to put some bat grip tape on to avoid that.

The unit is sturdy and sized well even for a 6' tall man. For the price of under $150 this thing was a steal. Great deal. Very satisfied with purchase.
