I used this hydration system with a Smart Water bottle during a 12 day backpacking trip. It was wonderful not having to stop and have someone help me with my water bottle every time I needed a drink. I didn’t have any trouble with it leaking. Great solution for backpackers.

Only thing is not so great is the mouthpiece, not easy for sucking water, for it's leak air into the tube. I have change to Anathan one.

No English instructions. Only in Japanese. Confusing and too complicated. Has a metal part in the Byte valve that will eventually rust or get lost during cleaning. Liquid does not flow as well as with a Camelback for example. I cannot recommend this product. Get the One Bottle Hydration instead.

Riporto la recensione fatta insieme alla bottiglia/borraccia NalgeneL'acquisto di questa bottiglia/borraccia Nalgene da 1,5 litri, è stata fatto in concomitanza con il Convertube della Source. Il Convertube, permette di adattare e usare il contenitore della Nalgene come se fosse una sacca idrica, da riporre nello zaino e ne consegue che il contenitore in plastica rigida è decisamente più durevole e resistente. Difficilmente si rischia di rimanere improvvisamente senza acqua o liquidi con un contenitore rigido e per esperienza personale (causa rottura camelbag), preferisco non usare mai più i classici camelbag in plastica morbida. Il contenitore Nalgene si riempie facilmente grazie al tappo di chiusura grande, ed è possibile aggiungere qualsiasi integratore salino in polvere o tavolette senza difficoltà alcuna. Una volta riempito e avvitato bene il tappo, può essere riposto in borsa o nello zaino, orizzontale o verticale, non dobbiamo minimamente preoccuparci del rischio di perdita di liquido. Nelle giornate più calde possiamo riporlo in frigorifero come una normale bottiglia d'acqua, le bevande non acquisiscono mai cattivi sapori, così come non si formano cattivi odori dopo il suo utilizzo. È di facile pulizia, può essere lavato a mano o in lavastoviglie e poi lasciato asciugare. Quando usiamo la bottiglia/borraccia in coppia con il Convertube, ricordiamoci di togliere il funghetto e la molla dal Convertube (nella parte finale del tubo, dove c'è lo sfiato del tubo per bere, eseguire le seguenti operazioni: togliamo il gommino in cui passa il liquido, eliminiamo il funghetto, la molla e riposizioniamo il gommino), questa operazione agevola tantissimo la fuoriuscita del liquido quando vogliamo bere, cosa che diversamente non avviene essendo la fuoriuscita del liquido verso l'alto e non verso il basso come i tradizionali camelbag! Accoppiata vincente per le lunghe uscite in montagna, a piedi o in bicicletta non posso farne a meno.

As someone who does alot of solo hikes one of my pevs is that I have to keep stopping to have a drink. In winter it's annoying because I need to remove the rain cover from my bag and in summer it's a pain because I'm to hot to be bothered (ends up with me behind dehydrated). Honestly this works great with my camelbak water bottle. I've had no leaks or fitment issues (used 3 times for 5-6 hour hikes). The tube is a little long but if I want I'm sure I could cut it. The mouthpiece is good enough quality and the cap holds well. Only thing to make it ... 6/5 starts, would be an included tube cleaner. I have recommended this to many others and they like it as well :)

Not worked with Indian mineral water bottles.Worked perfect with cold drink water bottles.Lil difficult to drink water u have to bite the" mouth tube" a little to suck d water properly.

It was easy enough to set up with my Nalgene bottle, but unfortunately it was like trying to drink water through a punctured straw - almost impossible. A lot of air was seeping in through the mouthpiece and prevented vacuum to build up and pull water from the bottle, making totally it useless. I found some other Amazon customers (low rated reviews) having similar problem.It seemed broken, so I contacted Source who were helpful, and after a few email exchanges they agreed to send me a replacement unit. Unfortunately, I had to pay an extra 100 SEK customs fee to EU/Sweden - making the purchase end up at SEK 340 - after all efforts and extra cost, it better hold up and prove its value!

Ne s'adapte pas au format des gourdes les plus utilisées, le tuyau se détache constamment de la bouteille, difficile à démonter pour nettoyer, bref à fuir !!!
