These Bannetons (not pictured) have helped me make dozens of incredible loaves!I bought these two oval bannetons so that I could make 2 loaves at a time, while saving space in my fridge. I've used them with and without the linen covers, and I love making bread either way.All of the loaves shown are approximately 758g of dough when shaped and put in the bannetons. The seem to have plenty of room to proof in the refrigerator from 8-24 hours.I use the bread scraper every time I bake bread for scraping, lifting the dough, separating a large amount of dough into smaller pieces, etc.I prefer to score the dough with a bare razor in my hand, so I don't use the scoring tool, but I'm sure it would work fine.Great beginner to intermediated/advanced kit!

A lovely kit with all the tools you'd need for sourdough, and to my amazement, these made a huge difference to the quality and ease of producing lovely loaves. An excellent kit, and very well worth the investment!

Overall, this is great value for the price. It comes with two baskets already sleeved and a really nice razor tool with a bunch of extra razor blades. That razor handle surprised me since it was actually good quality and looked nice. While the baskets were fine, I did notice that some of the wooden strips were broken. They did not compromise the overall structure of the basket, but it is noteworthy, I presume some more might crack in the future due to temperature fluctuations and given that the quality of the wood is not the best. I do believe that if you get one with all the wooden pieces in-tact, to season them well as to prevent them from cracking.

So far so good. All the utensils look well built, starter took 5 days to activate, and the directions were easy to follow. I see know issues with this kit.
