This string, oh my god, this string. First off Dacron, need I say more? I do? Ok buckle up, it's gonna be a ride. Bought this string for my Hungarian 55# traditional bow. It's a little bit shorter than the string provided, but upon reading that others have used it without the dreaded limb in the eye happening, I decided to give it a go. No regrets. This string makes the one I received with the bow look like dental floss in comparison. Not only do I feel a more satisfying resonance in my palm, my arrows seem to actually hit harder and faster. The string itself (which looks goddammit lovely) seems to be a bit waxed. At least compared to other strings. Definitely not a bad thing, at least to me. It gives it a feeling of strength and craftsmanship I don't get from other strings. Other strings look like a few strands of thread sewn together in a few places. This string looks intricate yet simple at the same time. It's hard to explain. The pictures themselves do justice. If you need a new string, buy this one.

The string was delivered promptly by amazon prime as usual but ut was 63.2" instead of 64" for a 68" AMMO. I freaked out a bit but decided to wash it with hot water and dish washing liquid to remove the wax, i then i strung it, gave it 10 spins then left it to dry overnight... The brace height was at 9.2" in the evening, when i woke-up in the morning it was at 8.8". I then shot 50 arrows and checked the brace height again, it was 8.5" with the 10 spins ! Dacron stretches a bit that's why they usually pre-stretch them before shipping but i think this one was not... Anyway it was a bit tedious but this string is really nice after all so i guess it was worth it after all ! Don't forget to wax it once it reached the desired length...

Fitted this to a late 60's era Ben Pearson recurve bow that I've owned since new. High quality construction, and selecting the proper string was simple using info on bow and in description. Standing up very well to frequent shooting. Great value.

Works great on my antique Bear archery glass-powered bow. New shooters be sure to store your bows with strings removed when not in use.

The picture they show shows a nice gradient of yellow-orange with the orange being a nice sunny shade. The bowstring that arrived is the same neon orange color as a hi-vis vest. Truly eye-searing in the sense that I now have a headache after I looked at it to take the picture (admittedly extra-bright, neon colors and headaches are a reoccurring problem for me). Probably a great color for anyone who goes hunting in the woods or tends to misplace things3 stars because it’s not the same color as shown in the picture but also because of the headache. No idea if it works well; I didn’t even take it out of the packaging. I’ll be exchanging the hi-vis orange version for the black.

This was the first time I had to get a replacement string for the bow I purchased, so I wasn't entirely sure what to get. Once I figured out sizing, there were still about a million choices. This one was from a company I'd heard of, and I appreciate that it was made in the USA. My son got it on the bow with no issue, and thought that it was way better than the original one. Will definitely buy again!

After testing a few different strings off Amazon, I can honestly say that this is the best fitting string for my 68" bow. Comes in exactly as what they advertise. Brace height is perfect with only a few twists. Shoots quite. Fantastic buy.

Would have liked the style to match the picture. I have no problem with it being black but when the picture shows a different product than what you get it's a touch disappointing.
