The bow came in a mangled, broken tube, courtesy of the Post Office. It had a small nick on the edge of the belly glass which I fixed with super glue - not a big deal. The bow is subtly beautiful in its own way, but more importantly, it is very smooth and accurate. It's a real pleasure to shoot. I have over 2 dozen bows, some costing over $1000, and this is as good as any - and better than most. It's a terrific accomplishment on their part, and a great buy for anyone looking for a good longbow.

The product arrived after a couple of weeks in a partially broken tube that was heavily taped. It doesn’t seem that the bow sustained any damages in shipping. However, see the pictures, in multiple places there are small dents in the finish, which appear to have originated during the manufacturing process. I have contacted the official SWA support and they agreed to send me a replacement. I will update the review if any issues come up.As far as the bow itself goes, for the price I think it’s hard to beat. It’s very elegant, sits well in your hand, well balanced, light, and shoots very quiet. You can tell that a lot of engineering thought went into its design.P.S. The replacement bow had similar cosmetic blemishes, perhaps a bit milder but still. I am a bit of a perfectionist when it comes to ordering brand new things, so I am taking the star down.

Bow is good for the price. Shipping tube was mangled on end and had been taped over. Didn’t receive the bow stringer as was stated in the description. Overall decent bow.

Amazing view and great customer service. Also they say its not prime eligible but it still got delivered in two days. All in all very satisfied with my purchase. I read on other reviews that it had some vibration when firing; I did not experience this at all, it is a smooth shooter.

I just received my Scorpion 35 pound right handed bow on 11/9/2019. I have already been to the range with it twice. It is extremely well made and fires beautifully. It did take about a mont for me to receive, as the weight I needed in a right hand bow was back ordered. However, Southwest archery notified me of the issue immediately and provided my with excellent and ongoing communication throughout the back order period. I would highly recommend this bow and Southwest Archery products. I will definitely be buying with them again in the future!
