When making patch cables or doing precision work with network wires, you need sharp snips and to be able to make a clean cut. I am on my second pair. I keep one new on hand in case someone grabs mine and decides to cut a nail or steel wire with it. I like the feel of these, they are heavy, but not too bulky. Like any cutters, they will get dull. Mine are kept just for trimming Cat 6 wire for keystone jacks and ends. You want to protect them. These are a decent price for good quality.

Nice and smooth out of the box. Great knives, no problem snipping through romex and can chop up MC if needed. Easy to manouver and comfortable.

These are very well made side cutters and I love the offset jaws, great for extra leverage. They also cut wire very well. The handles are very comfortable and they are a nice larger size. Great purchase. So good, I just ordered another pair.
