I use these almost daily with my crafts. Right size for small to medium sized hands. I like the locking mechanism so they store easily. Light weight and has a wire cutter on the blades. Definitely priced right. Ease of use, I have issues with my hands and these are light weight enough that I can use them easily without causing discomfort.I recommend these pliers.

This small but mighty tool was just the ticket when I needed to swap out a bunch of trout-lure treble hooks for barbless single hooks to comply with regulations on a local river. It made working with the small rings quick and efficient.The little locking latch is working fine and I like having the small cutter available. Use it properly, and with smaller split rings, and I think you will be happy.

I needed this for split ring assembly on the crankbaits I'm building. Works well on #2 size ring. Maintains a good grip on ring and opens the ring wider than the other tool I purchased previously for the very same thing.Machined well. Cutter is a great addition. Nice price as well

These are complete garbage. I got them because of the price, but they broke changing out the first split ring and hook. Save the $, and buy anything else!!

I thought it would be to small to use but works great. If the pliers were longer it wouldn't work for me. The rings are pretty small and I need to look real close at what I'm doing. Very strong and super easy to split rings on a Rapala HJ8. I would buy it again.
