Been needing to install a spare tire mount on my utility trailer for some time now. I’ve driven off several times forgetting to bring my spare, luckily I didn’t get a flat. Installation was simple and it worked perfectly.

This tire mount was converted to mount in my van. It is well built and easy to install . I don’t want the tire rim underneath that might rust. I used the mount plate inside the van wall to make it sturdy. I did have to change the bolt sizes 4- 3/8 x 1 1/2 in and 2 - 1/2 x 3 in to hold with extra washers and nut to mount tire bolts so they don’t move while installing tire.

This hung on my boat holding a tire and rim and I only drive 100 yards to put my boat in and out of the water. This broke just from the rim and tire hanging. I would try and find a heavy duty one this seems to be built cheap.
