I found that these SpectrumOI eyepieces are well made, and for a set of three it is a good reasonable price. Compared to the original 20mm and 10mm eyepieces that came with my telescope, I found these to be of similar optical quality, with a slight preference to the original eyepieces. Of all of them, I'd have to say 20mm is probably my favorite in terms of field of view, clarity and brightness. the 4mm was unique in terms of the level of magnification, but it is really difficult to get the target in view, and then really difficult to see it as it is quite dim. It was good for me to calibrate that my existing eyepieces are not junk, and these are likely an upgrade for someone whose telescope came with really cheap lenses.

My son enjoys his telescope so I got him this as a gift. Its standard size and fits his telescope. It's a different size than what his came with. I think the 4mm eyepiece really brightens up the stars in view.

This is a nicely boxed set of three economy eyepieces each one with both top and bottom plastic covers. These 62° eyepieces are available through a number of different brands but essentially the same. I am not sure why this vendor is targeting them towards children? The three focal lengths supplied here are 22mm, 10mm and a high powered 4mm. The first two are the most useful but all are predominately plastic in construction but with glass lenses. They are internally blacked to help with reflections and contrast which is good. The rubber eye guards do not turn up.The 4mm is the same as the 10mm however it contains a rather poor quality internal barlow lens. This is done to help increase eye relief at the expense of contrast and image quality.Overall this would make a decent outreach set, especially the 22 mm and 10 mm eyepieces. The 4mm is more situational with requiring a more short focal length telescope. A 6mm without the barlow element would be more useful. If the lens housing was not of plastic in construction I would give more stars.

Got a used telescope that came with one eyepiece with a dry rotted cup. These made a cheap replacement. Everything was well made, and tight, I didn't have any issues threading on my filters and they fit snuggly into my telescope. While these don't perform as well as Possl lenses they also cost as nearly as much. All of them had debris on the inside of the lens which I had to clean off before using them. But just looking through them briefly everything else seemed to be as it should be.

These are great. I’m not an expert, but these seem to be good quality as far as I can tell. It’s a nice set and works well with my telescope. For the money, I don’t think you can go wrong with these. I recommend them.

I was hoping maybe there's a gem out there which would be cheap but better than your typical "included" eyepieces with cheaper telescopes. These aren't much better than the stock ones. Not a bad set if it covers more range than you have already or you lost your original ones.

If you need some eyepieces and money's tight, this set might just fit the bill. The set is good, but not great. Build quality is as you would expect at this price range. Most of the parts are plastic, however the lenses are glass. This is certainly a step up from the cheap eyepieces that used to come with entry level scopes when I first got into the hobby back in the 1980s.As other reviewers have mentioned, the 4mm is the weak link. It's not a very good eyepiece. Right off the bat I noticed that the eye lenses of the 4mm and 10mm look to be the same size. If you hate tiny eye lenses, as I do, you might think that this is a plus. However, this is due to the 4mm having an internal barlow element to boost the power. This arrangement is quite common on short focal length eyepieces, and if done well it gives you a high power eyepiece that's comfortable to use. Unfortunately with cheaper eyepieces, it's usually not done well. In this case, it's not done well. Performance is poor. That aside, the two longer focal length eyepiece are good, with the 23mm being the standout. It's actually a very nice eyepiece. It performs well, and gives you a fairly wide field of view. For the $39.99 price at the time of my typing this review, this eyepiece set is a pretty good deal. If you shop around, you might be able to find a better deal. Or, you could just go with the 23mm and 10mm. Overall, I'm happy with them.

Good for public star parties where everyone is grabbing stuff you would lend to family. No worries about make-up, eyelashes or face plants. Otherwise...
