This IS a 5-STAR product that I WOULD RECOMMEND TO ANYONE !! This tool has QUALITY WORKMANSHIP seldom seen nowadays ! It has a beautiful burnished chrome finish (anti-rust?) with molded vinyl hand grips with spring. The two halves of this tool fit together perfectly and smoothly !! DGW, SU EEP.S.- Will probably also be great at getting the hooks out of our (hopeful) catches !!

The GOOD: they work--in closed position they will actually pick up something at the tip. The grips are excellent and do not slide off the handles. Price is low. The BAD: one tip is 50% thicker than the other (just sloppy finishing); the tips do not align with each other , so there is a 1 mm exposed jaw at the tip when closed (the bearing slop is likely what accounted for the closed misalignment--looks like the final factory tip finishing was done after the bearing was-- loosely-- cinched down); there is seemingly a semi- infinite supply of some graphite-based lube that leaks out of the bearing, and will eventually get on your hands...

The perfect thin pliers for holding small objects and for doing anything with small pieces. I make jewelry and these are perfect for pinching closed jump rings and wrapping wire.

Omg these are so small! They are very uncomfortable if you’re a woman with average to large hands. When I hold the handle, it comes right to the middle of my palm, which is a very bad place to be. Horrible for doing long term work. The handle is a full inch shorter than any other jewelry tool I have, which are also made for smaller women’s hands. That said, they are well made and operate smoothly.
