I am using this with an external Gyro for airplanes that can perform more routines than the AS3X, hence the reason for buying this unit. Having the extra taps on the top for extra components is a great feature also.

I only wish it was less expensive. For battery voltage it comes with a pig tail wire and plug. Solder the red wire ONLY anywhere into the positive battery wire and you'll have battery voltage on your transmitter. Clip off the black wire. Don't use it. I set my transmitter to speak battery voltage every 30 seconds! It's great! No timers needed

The Spectrum AR6610T works like a Dream when paired with one of the Spektrum Smart Transmitters! I use it with a 3.5 meter Sailplane and the Variometer/Altimeter are wonderful to have if you are concerned about the FAA 400ft altitude limit.

I fly expensive RC planes. My preference is for reliability and simplicity (the two often go together). This receiver fills the bill.

Item is used. I know this because when I went to register it online, I couldn’t due to it being registered and then returned to Amazon by someone else already. Servos and motor seem to work fine. I can't get a switch to work through CH Gear even though I set the channel up (I believe) correctly -100 to 100. Thanks for the recommendation for the AR937T, I will check it out. I was also told a new update for my DX6e has come out that deals with forward programming so hopefully I can get everything to work that I need. If not, it's going back.
