I milled the 2 aluminum pieces with one of these end Mills and it's still sharp. The black piece was from another time. These end Mills are sharp. They get into aluminum with minimal radial force. Nice chips. Smooth to the touch surface finish on the parts. I can't comment on life span at this point but based on the two pieces I made the value is definitely good.

I buy these quite a lot. Accurate 1/4" (most others bits are less than 1/4"). Shallow flutes create solid chatter free cuts. Deep flute bits are loud and chatter.

These leave a much worse finish than the usual 1/4" 2 flute straight bits I use

Nice set of bits, very sharp. I have been using these for hogging out material from hardwoods on my x carve. I've run 40ish hours on my first bit and still cutting well.

These are amazing for what I need them for. So far I've ran this endmill through this job 2 times. The program is just over an hour making it around 2½hrs of use in total. This bit is still cutting like butter and ready for the next job. These are the only endmills I will buy from now on. Don't go spend $60 on an Amana when you can get 5 of these sub $40. Just stop searching and buy these. Thank me later.....your welcome!

This is a great value. They may not be the best bits we can buy, but they're excellent bits at this price. I just ran one for 7 hours straight on solid walnut and the edges of these 1/2in boards are clean as any bit costing 5x more. The bit still seems sharp and ready for more.
