Item was listed as "2 flute". As you can clearly see by the photo, this end mill is a 5 flute. This is not a problem for my application but it may be for yours. Otherwise satisfactory for the price point.

18mm end mill is the size needed to mill a slot for a single coil guitar pickup. I’m about to pull apart $1400 evh star, mount it on a mill at work and start cutting! Haha wish me luckðŸ™

Works as an end mill should but wasnt too pleased with how brittle the bit is. Chipped leading edges of 2 of the flutes simply cutting into a piece of 6061 aluminum. Harder metals I would have expected this from a cheap bit, but this is 6000 series aluminum, I can trim a rough edge with a box cutter.Get what you pay for but I had expected proper treatment of the bit, not that hard and if I had known these were THAT brittle, I would have thrown it in the oven for a few minutes first.

Bits are great but make sure you are perpendicular to a flat surface. Carbide does not like irregular surfaces or off angle drilling.

Not exactly the intended purpose, but I needed to countersink a couple holes on an angle. Only had a drill press with a 1/2" chuck. It did the job and I can complete my project.
