I had been going through these small, detail bits like crazy - the head would snap if you looked at it funny. I decided to try these that have a much shorter cutting length, but figured they would have less flex in the bit. They worked out great - I was able to cut through a 1/32" piece of brass on my CNC machine. Left clean cuts and I used 1 bit where before I'd have to use a half dozen due to breaking in process.

These are fantastic end mills for soft metals. They leave an excellent finish and last a long time at a great price. I will be buying more to have on hand.

They work well but they wear out faster than my made in USA ones. Still you get 5 for about the price of one of those, I'm happy.

It is a tiny endmill so critical to mind your speeds and feeds but if you do you will be rewarded with a long lasting endmill.

The first one was dull in 5 minutes of routing a copper clad PCB. by the time it was finished it was a ball end router(1/2 hour). Totally unusable. I have been routing PCB's for over 30 years, and real carbide routers last 50 to 100hours.

I haven't broken one since I've started cutting PCB's, we'll see how they hold over time.

ALL 5 bits would not even "plunge" into soft plywood at a speed of 5 ips, which is VERY slow. When the touch to board, they immediately broke off; tried everything on each bit slowing nearly to a stop, and not one would cut anything nor even start moving laterally before breaking off. Not a good deal in any way or shape.

These bits last a long time and make a nice clean cut.
