This is a solid mic clip to add to your mic collection. It's very handy for keeping 2 mics in phase. I used this recently to double mic a snare drum just for fun and it worked just fine. Use this technique on a guitar amp and you will get some nice, in phase, thick guitar tone. The threads were a little sloppily cut but it threaded smoothly and held tight. It held 2 sm57's just fine. This item feels perhaps laser printed but still a nice solid one piece double mic clip. If you need one of these, its a no brainer at this price. Time to get some fat snare and guitar tones with the Fredman technique! It's fun to mess around with and this clip makes it alot easier. Only knocked one star due to craftsmanship. The threads are fine but quite shallow so not really made for longevity. That being said, it's a really solid piece of plastic and not flimsy at all. So don't let the threads sway you from trying this out. If you record guitars or drums, this is a pretty cool tool to have on the shelf to try every now and then.
