Worked better than anything else I have tried on my 1966 Chevelle fuel line. It has greatly helped with eliminating vapor lock and is far easier to install than sleeve type of insulation.

Used this to wrap some wiring on my Hummer H3 that is so close to the exhaust system that conventional split loom melts/deforms. This product works like a charm to keep my wiring cool. Easy to cut to length, install and secure. The length of the insulation I received was the 71" shown in the product title and not the shorter length shown in the description.

This shielding works but cannot take direct exhaust contact. A portion touched against my exhaust and the shiny metal baked off of the fiberglass. The fiberglass then charred. Good product, but will not stand direct heat.Product update. Please see the attached photos of this shielding near exhaust. Notice how the foil has completely burned off. The fiberglass does hold up. When you install be sure to not let this come in direct contact with you exhaust.

Extremely hard to work with unless what you're covering is perfectly straight. The stitching is pitiful, be very careful if you have to reposition the velcro because the stitching will immediately start to pull out .I ended up having to use an adhesive metal tape (like is used on HVAC systems) to hold it together. I was covering the heat bypass tube that goes to the EGR on my '90 Ranger, it has a couple curves in it and was VERY hard to cover.
