Tips are complete garbage. Even though they appear to be flame hardened they are soft. My fist attempt at scribing on mild steel the tip just folded up. I'm a moldmaker with 40+ years in metal working so this was not a case of operator error.Going to caugh up the money and get the Starrett which I new I should have done in the first place. I should have known better.

Product came rusted/dirty. Please show accurate photos. This is my first time purchasing an item like this, I will attempt to use it after cleaning.
