Last Spring we lost power due to some bad storms. I have a generator but didn't have the correct adapter to use the 50 Amp RV plug. I did have one to plug in at 30 Amps and a 50 to 30 Amp converter so not all was lost.I order the heavy duty Squanchy Store NEMA L14-30P to 14-50R twist lock generator plug so next time I'm ready and can tap into the full 50 Amps of my generator. This plug is very heavy duty and very well made. I can't see this plug failing anytime soon. When tested, it worked flawlessly.Now I'm set the nest time I lose power.

This locks in securely on both the 30a and 50a sides. I've not been able to test it at any significant power level yet, but based on the test fitting I believe it will work perfectly well.

I got this adapter to interface between my gasoline generator, which has a 240 outlet, and my water system booster pump in the event of a power outage. It is well made and a perfect fit on the generator. It's also reasonably priced. We'll see how it does long-term and I will report back if there are any issues.

This is handy for my collection of adapters for use when road-tripping my Tesla. I use the NEMA 14-50 as the main plug and then can adapt it as necessary. This product fits the bill for twist-lock connections and seems to be very high quality.

The biggest plug my generator has is the twist lock. Occasionally, I need to plug a 50 amp plug into my generator so I need an adapter. During a complete power outage this adapter will allow me to put my entire house on my generator. During non-critical times, I just use the generator for a critical loads panel.

There is no listing or other approval label on the SQUANCHY NEMA L14-30P to 14-50R Twist Lock Generator to RV Adapter. I'm not even sure that this particular NEMA configuration could be listed.That being said, the quality of construction appears to be excellent and better than some other adapters I already have.In an emergency, it's good to be able to adapt your generator to a variety of loads and plug configurations. In this case, plugging a 50 amp plug into a 30 amp receptacle just requires a little understanding of both the generator (or circuit) capacity and the actual load. It's not "rocket science", but it could be a problem if done indiscriminately.In any case, this is a welcome addition to my collection of cords and adapters from Amazon . I've found a myriad of ways to use them in combination.

Fits well on my generator in case of an emergency use case for my tesla! I attach this to the generator and I have a separate 14-50 mini extension cord that converts to the mobile tesla charger. Works great this way while I'm camping
