I am a guitar maker who works quite a bit with mother of pearl, abalone, etc. I cut patterns for inlays up and down the guitar neck and the headstock and and the rosette. I also sometimes utilize hardwoods and reconstituted stone. that. I use sizes ranging from 1/8 of an inch to 1/32â€. The luthier supply house I’ve been purchasing these bits from in the past charge charges the same price for each size regardless. They charge nearly $25 a piece. I’ve typically had no issues with the 1/16 and up diameters, but the 1/32? They break all the time! And there’s nothing like that little feeling you get when you hear the bit go “Ping†and you watch ANOTHER $25 go out the window.I i’m a fairly experienced pearl inlay artist. So I know the feel of “pushing†too hard when counting she’ll with a teeny tiny bit like that. Yes, it didn’t seem to matter how gently I treated them, they’d rarely make it from one Guitar to the next.I knew there had to be a better product out there. I came across this five piece set of 1/32†and decided that for 30+ dollars, what’s the worst that could happen?I’m very happy to say that I would probably put a good hour of actual use into the first bit (meaning actual cutting time) and it seems to be none for the worse for the wear and tear. I have yet to notice a decrease in performance, any smoking or clogging. It seems premature for me to post this review so soon after I started using the bits, but they’ve already outlasted brand X by two or three times and THAT is real, tangible, dollar savings.Very happy with this product!

Works great. Been using on an industrial drill for close to a month and it’s still sharp. Do need decent cutting fluid though to avoid too much heat on thicker stainless.

This is a pro quality set of 5 CNC tool bits (all the same size) that are individually plastic tube packaged and made of solid Tungsten Carbide (TC). Each has 3/4" length quad spiral cutting flutes and a 1/4" diameter square flat nose. The overall length is 2.5 inches for the bit. CNC cutter bits are intended for metal machining and these bits have a Titanium Aluminum Nitride (TiAlN) surface treatment to improve heat resistance and reduce wear. I can use this bit for CNC machine metal cutting, not wood. The bits are very sharp and well made. This solid TC bits are shown in the 2 pictures. The protective tubes have no labeling. A Sharpie will fix that. The bits are laser marked with size. I will add to my bits which allow me to machine steel and aluminum when I get equipment for that purpose.I Recommend this Jarrow Tool Brand Carbide Square Nose End Mill for CNC Machine Milling Tools, for Alloy Steels/Hardened Metals - 4 Flute - 55HRC TiAlN Coated (5Pcs, 1/4). Great set of bits in a useful size!I hope you’ve found the information and my review helpful.

I needed some quality bits to cut small aluminum pieces for props and G-10 material for a knife handle. These bits worked perfectly! They're a bit pricey when compared to other small bits, but they are well worth it! Clean cuts, no breaks so far.

These do the job well nice clean cut, long lasting edge, very pleased with the results in mild steel and non hardened o1 steel. Also used in aluminum a bit even though optimized for other material it still did a very good job with coolant.I will buy more in the future
