I bought this mesh to replace the mesh screen on my reptile enclosure. It worked great for this!! The enclosure lid uses a rubber gasket like a screendoor does. This mesh is flexible enough to allow it to be pressed in with the gasket. Its been a few months with a heatlamp resting directly on the screen and its held up beautifully! Would buy again if i needed it. It was very easy to cut. It does fray. I solved this issue by covering the sharp parts with hot glue.

I made a cardboard frame to put around an 8" X 11" portion of this screen to use for spattering watercolor paint to use for masking fluid and paint texturing. It's nice to find sheets of metal screening that hold up to the process.
